Adam is a Big Brother!

We have a new addition to our family!

Adam welcomed his new baby brother AUGUST HUNTER into the world on April 14th. Gus weighs 7 lbs 5 oz and looks like his big bro but with darker hair. We couldn't be happier.

Easter fun

We had a great Easter with all of Adam's Grandparents over. Adam colored some eggs, ate way too much cake and candy, found some eggs in the yard, had a sugar high and then crashed.

His Mom still has not had the baby (the doctor didn't think she'd make it this far but this baby is stubborn) so you can still see some (huge) belly shots....

Congratulations Uncle Brett and Vilma!

Adam made his first international trip to Panama to see his Uncle Brett get married!

Adam now has a new Aunt Vilma. We are so lucky to have her in our family and Adam and his Dad had a great trip to their wedding.

[Mom, unfortunately, was way too pregnant to travel and in fact will probably have this baby any day (or hours from) now.]

Here are some great pictures from their trip (some are thanks to Mrs. Dehmer and Anne Dehmer)...Besides the wedding some highlights were the zoo, Monkey Island, the hotel pool and meeting lots of new Panamanian friends.

Adam is enjoying watching Mom's belly get enormous...we are less than a month away!

Beware the Ides of March

Yesterday, Adam and I took our first trip to the ER. And now he has 3 staples in the back of his head.

He was playing on his ride-on car 'Lightening McQueen' in the house and somehow managed to tip over backwards and open up about a one-inch gash on the back on his head.

He is fine though and was a trooper in the hospital considering they took a stapler to the back of his head.

Too close for comfort?

These pictures are a couple weeks old but thought they were funny....after giving Adam a snack I returned to the living room to find he'd planted himself as close to 'Max and Ruby' as he could get.

In other news...Adam's baby brother/or sister should arrive in about 4 weeks! And Adam and his Dad will be traveling to Panama on Thursday for Uncle Brett's wedding!

Mama's helper

Adam will be a big brother in about 6 weeks...so he's been helping his Mom sort through his old baby clothes in order to get ready.

He found that actually getting into the bin with the clothes was very helpful.

Adam found an old pacifier in one of the boxes and although he hasn't used one since he was about a week old he's willing to retrain himself in order to teach his new brother or sister.

When Adam wants to be left alone (usually when caught being naughty) he says and waves "bye-bye" to us.

Adam and Amelia: reunited

Adam's friend Amelia visited from Brooklyn this weekend and we were so happy to see her and her Momma! They went sledding together, ate a bunch of food and played with her Grandparents dog too!

Well, this might be our grossest post yet. It has been a strange 24 hours around the Wolfe-Iwanski household. 1st an earthquake and now this.

Here is a picture of the GRAPE that was extracted from our son's nose today. Apparently, we need to watch Adam better while eating fruit. It's no wonder he slept horribly last night - I took him to the doctor today because I was afraid he was getting an ear infection - no, he just had a grape up his nose!!

Ready for the aftershock?

Adam managed to sleep through his first EARTHQUAKE last night! (although he woke up many many times crying for reasons we now know).

But his parents definitely woke up as the house swayed for 2-3 seconds! We're fine
but it's probably a good idea to surround ourselves by pillows today
just in case...

Family fun

Adam's 2nd cousins came over to play today - they had a blast....all the boys got along and loved playing the piano together (and eating lots of food)...

Evan is a month older than Adam and Justin is a year older.

Remote controller

Our son doesn't really know how to use the remote control - he only pretends. Ok, maybe he can use it just a little bit but hey, his mom is very pregnant and we're watching some tv on these cold winter days...

Belly Laughs

Adam decided to show off his belly so Mom's showing hers too. Mine's almost 30 weeks along - Adam's is about 21 months old...

Adam sampled the paints today in art class before moving on to sample
the playdoh. Yum.

Cheeseburger cheeseburger

Mom needed a burger so we're dining at the local Five Guys for
lunch...check out Adams hair sticking straight out the side. Good
hair day.

Snow storm!

It snowed all night and all day - Adam and his dad had a lot of shoveling to do (and some tree-hugging as well).
