he's back in Brooklyn!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all AJ's blog readers! We have been celebrating in Illinois for the past 2 weeks but are back in Brooklyn. We enjoyed heavy snow, rain, ice and fog - not to mention lots of colds and coughs. But we had tons of fun with our families. AJ got to show off his crawling moves, sippy cup skills as well as his 1st tooth which he got on Christmas morning! A warm December day
Since it was in the 60's today (!) we got some playground swinging in. AND Adam crawled forwards today for the 1st time! He went towards his dad of course...and he says dadadada all the time - mom is left out!

Adam had a great visit with his Aunt Beth...they enjoyed their first Macy's parade together, Adam's first Thanksgiving, visit to Santa and he even started to crawl while she was here! (please note: he can only move backwards - as you can see in this photo he crawled under the chair)

Adam meets Santa!

Happy Thanksgiving!
Adam had a great 1st Thanksgiving. His Aunt Beth is visiting from Nashville and we all went to the Macy's parade. For the big meal he dined with his Aunt Beth, Uncle Adam, Allison, Nathan and Elizabeth...he pigged out on peas and carrots with some pears for dessert. yum.

Not one, not two but THREE babysitters!
What a lucky guy. While Mom and Dad went out on a long overdue date of dinner and drinks AJ was entertained by his Uncle Adam, Allison and her sister Maggie. AJ had a super fun time and never even cried...his babysitters took some more pics here.

Fall activities
AJ gives us a quick recap of his weekend...on Saturday he enjoyed brunching in the west village with his good friend Elizabeth. It was so chilly he sported his cozy striped outfit (on left, with dad).
On Sunday AJ hung out with his Uncle Adam and Allison at the local Harvest Festival. Good times were had by all.
