Pre-sick baby

Our poor baby has a double ear infection and a cold...so we've been spending all of our time indoors feeling pretty crummy.

But here's a look at Adam BEFORE he got sick and was still our happy guy...

Snow daze

It's officially freezing here in the Midwest and we have some snow to play in. Adam just wants to play with his truck outside and isn't too interested in the snow yet - but once we have more than a couple inches he'll probably change his mind.

Santa time

We went to a "breakfast with Santa" event in Oak Park last weekend. Adam was not excited to see Santa at all - but with a little help from a stuffed dog that he clutched he was able to sit for a picture (just not on Santa's lap)

Thanksgiving

Adam had a fun Thanksgiving at his Grandma and Grandpa Wolfe's house - he got to watch the Macy's parade on TV and he loved playing legos with his 2nd cousin Lee. Then he spent the weekend at his Grandma and Grandpa Iwanski's and had a great time there too.

The only thing missing was watching the Macy's parade in person - we all missed seeing the big balloons from Times Square!

Last warm day

Adam is taking the last warmish day in sight seriously by getting as
dirty as possible. After today he might have some snow to play in!

Happy Halloween!

Adam, aka Bam-Bam, had a busy halloween - he went to a party in the morning, trick-or-treated in the afternoon and went to another party before bedtime. Here's a few more pictures of his day.

Here's some pictures from our weekend - we hung out with Grandma and Grandpa Wolfe at a "touch a truck" event and then we went apple picking - Adam's favorite part was eating a bunch of apples (Mom's favorite part was eating cider doughnuts).

More Pumpkin Fest

We had a great weekend in Morton, IL at the annual Pumpkin Festival with Grandma and Grandpa Iwanski - did you know Adam's Dad comes from the Pumpkin capital of the world!? that's right.

we ate tons of pumpkin desserts and rode lots of rides and saw some parades too - here's some pictures from the trip.

KiddieLand!

We took our first and last trip to KiddieLand yesterday....this old fashioned amusement park in nearby Melrose Park is closing for good in a couple of weeks after being around since the 1920's. Grandpa Iwanski even has memories of going there as a kid.

We didn't know what Adam would think of all the rides but he had a great time - he wasn't scared at all and he even rode the race car ride all by himself! Here's some pics and if you want to see the rest click here.
